purple butterfly

She saw the beauty in everything around her

Even in the places where many couldn’t

In a rotted tree, a wounded bird, and even in death

She had this ability to see the good in all around her

And yet she couldn’t recognize it in herself.

  1. I guess things often happen that way: we can be our own worst critics.

  3. Just a thought that as we want to be noticed, loved, appreciated, accepted by others we tend to neglect our own true self which is most beautiful… Human tendency to be loved to feel beautiful. Why say about other human beings I myself neglected the inner beauty because didn’t have anyone to praise me but then once I realized I am important too aah there I see how beautiful I am…. And the more beautiful I see myself the more beautiful I see everyone, everything around me….

So much depth in your words, thank u for such lovely words… Truly an inspiration for life.

    • And in yours, thank you for sharing a piece of you in this. It’s true that we just want to be noticed and valued. I agree that it’s important to see the beauty in both others and in ourselves. ♡
