They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, I would think that beauty is something different to each of us. So tell me, what is beauty to you? What catches your eye and your breath?

I, personally, find beauty in many things. Seeing a butterfly take flight or watching it rest on a bench is beautiful. But, so is the sound of my daughter’s laughter. Beauty, to me, isn’t just seen with our eyes or even heard with our ears. It is felt from within. Beauty is something that touches our souls on an intimate level. ♡♡♡♡

Seeing my kids get along. Witnessing genuine kindness. Finding an unexpected phenomenon or hidden treasure while out and about in the city. Only hearing natural sounds while in the forest.

    • My kids are too far apart in age to fight just yet, but I can imagine how amazing it is witnessing your kids getting along. I am so with you about seeing acts of kindness! That warms my heart so much. And exploring the city and seeing what’s around you, discovering something new is great. I had never thought the experiences as beautiful before, but you’re right, discovery is beautiful indeed. Nature is truly a wondrous thing to behold, especially when there’s no outside interruptions. Thank you for sharing a piece of yourself with us, Geoffrey. ♡

  3. Beauty to me is everywhere. I try to see be beauty in everything, but more than anything I find beauty in the sky, butterflies and people. 🙂

  4. It’s not always the same things for me. Sometimes it’s seeing an elderly couple holding hands at the mall. Sometimes it’s a random perfect flower, all petals still intact. But I love taking pictures, so I’m working on seeing beauty in all things. 🙂

I see beauty in a lot of things (especially nature) but for the sake of pinning one down today I’ll have to say I find beauty in a smile.
