Only a couple of days ago, I asked in prayer for help to pay off my old student loan so that I could return to school and finally turn my life around. I also asked all of you and many other friends to pray for me. Prayer is so powerful and amazing.
Do you know what else is amazing? I happen to have the most amazing boyfriend on the planet. He told me that whatever I can’t gather together by early April for my loan, he will loan to me. He believes in me, what I am capable of doing with my life, and wants to see me succeed. I am beyond humbled right now.
Let me tell you more about this amazing man, shall I? He has stood by me through an awful lot. He puts up with my mood swings and never once loses his patience. He has gotten to know my son and made him a part of his life. My son adores him! He listens to me when I just need to vent. He holds me when I am upset. He proves he’s listening by remembering little things I said months ago and randomly talks about it. He makes me laugh. He holds my hand most times when we walk somewhere, even to the car. He never pushes me to do something I am not comfortable doing. He goes out of his way to see me smile. He gives of himself to his family and friends when they need him. He works so very hard to have the life that he has. His parents did an amazing job raising such a wonderful man. His faith is strong, something important to us both that connects us. I love this man with all of me. I love him as a fellow Christian, as my best friend, and as my soul mate.
I want to thank you all for your prayers, support, friendship, encouragement, and love. A part of me did indeed panic over how I was going to make this work. I wasn’t sure either if it was part of God’s plan. I wanted it to be a part of His plan for me and as it turned out, it appears to be because He provided a way to make furthering my education possible. Your support on here has made a lot of difference when it comes to staying strong and keeping the faith. Thank you, just thank you.
